Hello, I'm Lisa

Mum to three wonderful children and the photographer behind Pausing Time Photography, based in Cheltenham.

I’ve always had a passion—some may say obsession—for photography. I truly believe you can never have too many photos. I bought my first DSLR around 13 years ago to document our holidays and adventures, but it was after having children that my love for photography truly blossomed. I wanted to capture every beautiful detail of them and our family life.

What began as learning, practising, and photographing friends and family slowly became something more meaningful. I discovered my calling behind the camera—capturing people, love, connection, and those images you can feel. You know the ones that instantly transport you back to a moment? That feeling is priceless.

Based in Cheltenham in the beautiful Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, I’m drawn to natural, relaxed settings—your home, your favourite places, fields, woodland, or the stunning scenery that surrounds us.
